The recent U.S. election was an opportunity to revive the nation discussion on health reform and its potential under a new administration.
While there are many questions on how to implement reform and what changes should be made to the health financing and delivery systems, there is universal recognition of the problems and much activity at state, local, and programmatic levels to experiment and pilot solutions to address the current need of health system reform.
This issue of the JSI newsletter focuses on the work JSI has been doing to research, implement, and evaluate changes to the health system to address the access barriers, improve local and regional systems with health information technology, improve quality of care, and suggest policy solutions.
